Laszlo is a large adult male Domestic Long Hair cat with a striking black and white tuxedo coat. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Laszlo is incontinent due to past tail trauma and requires manual bladder expression and some supportive medications, but his loving personality makes him a wonderful companion. He is currently at Austin Pets Alive! and ready to find a caring home.

Laszlo is the picture of feline charm, draped in a long-haired black and white tuxedo with an adorable little soul patch under his chin that truly sets him apart. True to the meaning of his name, "glorious ruler," this cat is bound to become the ruler of your heart! He is unabashedly affectionate and absolutely loves being snuggled or scooped up for cheek and chin scratches. In the shelter, Laszlo stands out as an equal-opportunity lovebug. He enjoys the company of cats, happily cuddling and goofing around with his feline roommates. Between napping, patrolling windows for a good view, and chasing rolly balls, he's always got a playful agenda. At his foster home, Laszlo's personality shone; he was constantly making biscuits on every soft surface and loved to curl up against his foster's neck during naps. The social butterfly in him even coaxed a shy resident cat into games of chase after gentle introductions. Playtime is a delight for Laszlo, especially when a wand toy is involved. He’ll keep you entertained for hours with his leaps and pounces! Laszlo faces some challenges after tail trauma left him incontinent; he relies on his humans for manual bladder expression—a process that his rescue will happily guide you through. He also takes supportive medications and needs occasional cleaning, but caring for him is more manageable than it sounds. Laszlo is a loving and playful companion who would thrive with another cat and a family ready to give him the special care he deserves. All cats from his rescue are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Their Cat Behavior Team offers lifetime support to adopters. This could be the start of something paw-some.
