Shilo is a special baby who came into foster with a bulging eye at 4 months old. He had a severe eye infection. His colony care giver tried appropriate medications to help his eye before it got to the point of bulging and very infected. We were more than happy to help out. Initially, we thought Shilo would lose his eye, but with additional medication as a last ditch effort we were able to save his eye. Unfortunately, Shilo's vision was not able to be saved. I believe he can see shadows out of his left eye, making him about 40% blind. Shhh Shilo doesn't know that! Through out everything, Shilo has been extremely loving, wanting nothing more than attention and to cuddle up with you, easily becoming a household favorite.
