About Trotter
Trotter was picked up after spending weeks roaming the streets, and he's proven himself to be a soft-hearted companion with a few unique traits. Deaf and with a striking Merle eye, Trotter also has limited vision, but he takes it all in stride—walking confidently on leash and moving around with ease. He loves to shower his people with affection, often flopping over for belly rubs, and generally prefers the company of women. Trotter gets along with other animals, both cats and dogs, but needs gentle playmates because of his visual limitations. He’s eager to learn, making steady progress with taps and sign-based cues. Despite his hearing and vision impairments, Trotter plays, cuddles, and enjoys life without missing a beat. He's in Mesa, AZ, but arrangements can be made to meet interested adopters anywhere nearby.
