For days they stuck together sleeping outdoors at Okmulgee Lake, until a rescue swooped in just ahead of an arctic blast. Both boys were heartworm positive but have since completed treatment and are now active, content, and healthy. Tango is the one with a deeper red, short coat and a striking blue eye, while Cash has lighter blond-red fur and two bright blue eyes—plus a funny habit of crossing his front legs when he’s relaxed. Both are around 2–3 years old, under 50 lbs, and mellow rather than hyper. They love to lounge at your feet or nearby, and they always keep tabs on each other. They’re good with other dogs and get along well with children. Because they’re so bonded, they must be adopted together and need a secure 6-foot privacy fence to keep them safe.
