Star and her companion Luna were surrendered to the rescue after their owner lost housing and could no longer care for them. Summer heat made it unsafe to keep them in a car, so they found refuge here. Star is about three years old, mostly gray with white patches, and has now been spayed and vaccinated. Luna is described as a lovely Russian Blue. Star is house trained and gets along well with other cats, making her a great candidate for a home with feline friends.
