About Honey
Honey is a big-hearted goofball who perfectly balances cuddly affection with plenty of independence. She loves to sprawl on the couch, often with her head upside down, and is always up for a cozy nap with her human close by—but she’s never clingy. Car rides are a favorite; she’ll quietly settle in and watch the world go by from the window. Honey enjoys exploring the outdoors, sniffing around, and has a special fondness for water and puddles. Give her a Nylabone or a plush toy (destined to lose its stuffing), and she’s content. She lives for snoring on the furniture and will let out an exasperated sigh if you take too long before a walk. Training comes naturally to her—she knows sit, shake, and lay down, and will gladly perform for treats. In her foster home, she adapted well to house training and will signal when it’s time to go out. While Honey adores children and has done well in homes with kids, she needs to be your one and only dog and is not a fit for households with cats. She thrives on being the center of attention, making her a wonderful match for first-time dog owners or anyone seeking an easygoing couch buddy. Don’t forget—Honey is eligible for a 7-day foster-to-adopt program. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
