Godiva is a female Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur mix and part of a large breed puppy litter. She is currently housed with Animal Rescuers Without Borders, Inc. Godiva is spayed, fully vaccinated, and described as an affectionate, friendly pup who gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. She is still a baby, so adopters should be ready for puppy energy and ongoing training.

About Godiva

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Godiva, part of the delightful "G litter" rescued from Baja, Mexico. Godiva and her siblings are truly "super mutts," showing hints of Aussie, Anatolian Shepherd, Labrador, and Collie in their adorable personalities and appearances. Since their background is a mystery, these lovable pups are set to become large or even extra-large when fully grown—potentially ranging from 60 to over 100 pounds. Right now, they’re healthy, playful, and full of affection for people and other dogs. These puppies are incredibly friendly and social with everyone they meet. While not currently living with cats, their easy-going personalities suggest they’ll likely do well with feline companions too. Godiva is crate trained and settles well for naps and overnight, but she and her siblings are still learning house training. Patience and a commitment to positive potty training are required, as these growing pups sometimes can’t hold it all the way yet! Their adopter must be ready to devote quality time and participate in puppy group classes to help Godiva become a well-mannered adult. Godiva is fully vaccinated and has her spay appointment scheduled in San Diego (zip code 92104). For this reason, applicants must be local to San Diego until her procedure is complete, so she can attend her appointment. Afterward, adopters from farther away will be considered. If you’re excited to enrich your life with a smart, loving, and social companion, Godiva is waiting to meet you! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
