About Godiva
Godiva is part of a big, lovable Baja "super mutt" litter, each with their own quirks and personalities. Her background is a mix—it’s anyone’s guess how much Labrador Retriever or Black Mouth Cur is in her—but these pups are likely to grow into large or extra-large adults, possibly anywhere from 60 to 110 pounds full grown. Their mother is 42 pounds, but Godiva and her siblings are destined to be bigger. Each pup differs a bit in looks: you’ll spot Aussie, Anatolian Shepherd, Collie, and Labrador traits in the bunch. Despite the mystery, every one of them is sure to be an affectionate, good-natured companion. Godiva gets along well with other dogs, children, and she’s expected to do fine with cats. She’s crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, taking naps in her crate after a busy play session. House training is still a work in progress—adopters should be ready for accidents and approach the process patiently, understanding these puppies are still learning. Her adopter must be in the San Diego area for now, as she needs to attend her scheduled spay appointment locally at the end of June (the surgery is included in the adoption fee). After sterilization, applicants from outside the region will be considered. An adopter for Godiva should have time, patience, and a commitment to positive training. Group puppy classes are strongly encouraged to help her grow into a well-adjusted adult. Godiva is healthy, vaccinated, and ready for her next chapter with someone willing to give her structure, fun, and love. Click apply to start the adoption process.
