About Frannie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Frannie! This loving senior Domestic Short Hair cat is currently in need of a forever or long-term foster home where she will be cherished and understood. Frannie has developed a delightfully companionable and comforting personality—she's intelligent and sweet, adores lap time, loves to climb, and can often be found perched high above, watching "kitty TV" through a window. Her playful side emerges with toys she can chase, especially feather toys and anything stick-shaped—she's known for her unique "stick fetish." Frannie’s guardian spirit shines through, as she'll accompany you even into the bathroom and sit protectively by your side. She prefers gentle petting and a soft voice, and would do best in an adult home without children, as she thrives with patient, cat-savvy caretakers willing to provide the gentle handling she appreciates. Frannie enjoys fresh, flowing water and expects her water bowl to be kept clean, drinks plenty, and likes to be fed both morning and night (with the occasional treat). After losing her longtime owner, she needed time and compassion but with patience, she's made a loving comeback and enjoys the company of other cats. She's lived with dogs, cats, bunnies, and even a macaw, and is unafraid to stand her ground or be bullied. Her resilient, inquisitive nature makes her quite the adventurer—hunting toys, mapping every cupboard, and napping in sunshine puddles. Trimming her nails is best approached with patience and a gentle hand, as she is not fond of scruffing or rough handling. Frannie is the ideal companion for someone who will let her blossom at her own pace and relish her affectionate quirks. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
