About Rafiki
Rafiki, or Piki as he's often called, comes with a little collection of nicknames—each as endearing as his unique personality. He’s easy to pick out with his fluffy long coat and absolute lack of a tail, the classic Manx look that adds a whimsical touch. Big, expressive eyes and strong hindquarters mean he can hop across a room with a surprising burst of energy, but he has a softer side too. Off-duty, Rafiki transforms into a lap cat who’ll purr up a storm and seeks out affection at every turn. He is a social guy: fetch enthusiast, stroller-rider, errand buddy, and always in the thick of family business. Rafiki does have specific needs—he lives with Manx syndrome, so he wears a diaper and will need someone dedicated to giving him a bit of extra care. He’s incontinent and requires to be expressed twice a day; it only takes a couple minutes with the right training. His adopter must either already be experienced with this or be nearby (Dallas Metro) to learn.
