Mamba
AvailableMamba is a large, male shepherd mix with golden and black coloring and a medium-length coat. He’s about 2 years and 6 months old and is currently in Anderson, IN. Mamba is neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. He’s not house trained yet, but shows plenty of potential to learn quickly in the right home.
About Mamba
Mamba is a goofy, high-spirited shepherd mix who’s always bursting with energy and ready to play. He doesn’t really have a sense of personal space—he wants to be glued to your side, all in on every activity. Runs, long walks, hikes, or fetch—he’s eager for any kind of action, as long as he’s with you. Tennis balls are basically gold to him; he'd be happy chasing them as long as you’ll throw them. He already knows a couple of basic commands like sit and down but still needs some work when it comes to manners. Put in a little effort, and you’ll be rewarded with a quick learner—he just needs a patient hand. Mamba lived with other dogs, cats, and kids in his last home, though in a shelter environment, he tends to get a bit tense around new animals, especially at first. He’ll do best with careful, slow introductions to other dogs and will need close supervision at the start. With cats, he’s pretty uneasy. He’s not house trained yet, but he’s smart and eager to please. Fun fact: Mamba was born November 5th, making him a Scorpio—known for intensity and a big personality. Questions about Mamba

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Shepherd mixes like Mamba usually need a lot of outdoor space for exercise and play. A securely fenced yard is perfect, but long daily walks or runs can also meet his needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Mamba’s breed mix tends to do well with children, especially when raised with them. Since he’s lived with kids before, he could make a great family companion—though supervision is best given his strength and energy.
