About Fawn

Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Fawn and her brother Ferris were abandoned in the country, but thanks to caring people, she’s now healthy and searching for her forever family. Fawn is an adorable young Pit mix with unforgettable blue eyes, around 4–5 years old and weighing about 45 lbs. She has a short coat in a beautiful blend of apricot, red, and golden shades, and sports a charming little bobtail that's all her own. Fawn is spirited, playful, energetic, and has a sassy streak, but she’s also incredibly affectionate and super sweet. She walks well on a leash, loves playing with other dogs, and is very food-motivated and smart—though she’s still learning and could use some basic training to keep channeling her energy in the right direction. Fawn is ideal for an active family looking for a loving, loyal companion for walks or park adventures, and she’s sure to give back endless affection in return. She is currently located at the Animal Refuge Foundation facility in Sherman, Texas, and adoptions are by appointment. Meetings can be arranged once you’ve submitted an application and spoken with the Adoption Coordinator. You can also keep an eye out for her at upcoming adoption events. What are you waiting for?
