Pepper has adjusted from a rough start on the street to a more comfortable life indoors. Sheās a four-year-old, black and white tuxedo girl who appreciates the simple joys of regular meals and a clean litter box. New environments and quick movements can still startle her, and sometimes sheāll let you know with a convincing swat or hiss. Over time, sheās grown more confident and those moments are happening less often. Sheās newly discovering play. The red laser dot is irresistible, and she can chase down wand toys or lazy mice with impressive speed. Petting sessions are best done with Pepperās feet firmly on the groundāshe prefers slow, gentle pets from head to tail. While sheās not quite a lap cat yet, sheās tested out a human lap and may warm up to it with patience. Pepperās looking for a quiet home, ideally with someone who understands cats and is happy to give her space as she becomes more comfortable.
