Meet Rocky! Rocky is a 5-year-old beagle mix with a gentle spirit. He and his mom, Lin, were left to fend for themselves before being rescued and given a second chance at finding the forever family they deserve. Rocky is a shy boy at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality will begin to shine. Like a true beagle, he enjoys being outside, running around, and following his nose on new adventures. He is still learning leash manners and would benefit from some basic obedience training, but he’s eager to please and will blossom with patience and consistency. He gets along well with other dogs and could enjoy having a canine friend to show him the ropes. He hasn’t been cat-tested yet. Because he can be nervous with sudden movements, Rocky would do best in a calm home with respectful kids 13 and older. Rocky is looking for a family who will give him the time, love, and reassurance he needs to build his confidence. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty and a lifetime of love.
