About Remy
Remy is based in Nipomo, CA, and available for adoption within Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties. She packs plenty of energy into daily life but knows how to settle into a downright snuggly companion when play is done. Athletic and clever, Remy brings a bit of goofiness along with an eager attitude—she’ll jump up to say hi and loves learning new things with positive reinforcement. Fetch time is truly her highlight, and toys of any kind seem to have her full heart. She doesn’t wait quietly for you to throw the next one; you’ll usually find her trying to get ahead of you. There’s also her unique fixation on reflections: she’ll leap or pounce at moving lights on walls and ceilings with as much drive as any cat chasing a laser pointer. Remy lives well with cats and other large dogs, but for new introductions, a few meet-and-greets are a must to ensure everyone gets along. She can become overexcited on leashed walks if she spots certain animals, so she’ll do best with someone confident and able to redirect her energy. Her bursts of zoomies make her entertaining, but she could be a bit much for very small children, though she’s gentle at heart. A secure, fun-loving home that can match her playful spirit will bring out Remy’s best. If you’d like to meet her, expect at least two get-togethers at her foster’s home and a visit to yours before the adoption moves forward. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
