About Nox
Noxâs name comes from the Latin word for ânightââfitting for a cat with a midnight-black coat and a single white spot on his chest. Adopted as a kitten, Nox enjoyed a happy life until small children entered the picture. He managed to tolerate the first baby, but the second pushed his patience past the limit. He made it clear he prefers a kid-free home. In his foster home without children, Nox has flourishedâhis foster mom calls him lively, smart, and companionable. Nox soaks up attention, loves petting, and is not shy about reminding you when heâs being ignored: a tap of the paw, a gentle meow, or a nudge usually does the trick. He insists on windows with a view for sunbathing and bird-watchingâpreferably with you nearby. Heâs not keen on being picked up, but heâs all about curling up for a lap nap. Keep shipping tape out of reach, since he has a weakness for tearing and chewing on it, but catnip, treat mazes, and feather toys all earn his stamp of approval. If youâre looking for a spirited, people-oriented companion who appreciates peace and quiet, Nox is your guy. Make your lap his new favorite place. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
