Meet Lizzy! This plump girl came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her and is ready to find a home to call her very own! When she initially came to us, Lizzy was extremely timid and on the grumpy side. Since coming to our adoption floor, she has been spending time in our cattery and is really starting to come out of her shell! Lizzy enjoys getting head rubs and can always be found hanging out on the cat trees or curled up in a comfy bed. She's definitely more of an independent, easygoing cat who would do well in a home that is on the lower energy side of things. This chunky girl absolutely LOVES canned food and that is one of the quickest ways to get close to her! Lizzy previously lived in a home with cats and would not be opposed to having cats in the home. She is not the playing sort and tends to enjoy sitting and watching the other kitties tussle and play. Lizzy does well with respectful, calm children who will give her space and time to come out of her shell on her own terms.
