At about a year old and 65 lbs, he’s a large, short-coated, black and tan mixed breed dog bursting with energy and good intentions. TJ is everyone’s buddy—kids, adults, dogs—and greets new faces like old pals. Toys and playtime are top priorities, especially a game of fetch or tug with dog friends. He’s gentle when taking treats and usually walks nicely on a leash, unless an exciting critter crosses his path. He’s crate trained, appears to be house trained, and is easygoing on car rides. After burning off his zoomies, TJ will settle in quietly, content with a chew toy and some downtime. He’s still learning personal space and is working to moderate his excitement, especially with adults, but his eagerness to please is genuine.
