Meet Tigger! Tigger is a terrier mix with a long, lean build and a heart full of love. She's sweet, affectionate, and looking for a forever home where she can truly thrive. Tigger gets along well with both dogs and cats once she's had a proper introduction. During her first few days in foster care, she was a bit unsure and would show her teeth if another dog approached too quickly—no growling or snapping, just a warning—but she settled in beautifully once she felt safe. She's fully potty trained and enjoys short bursts of playtime. She's known to dart off to explore, but she always comes back on her own. Tigger was rescued from a difficult situation where she showed early signs of heartworm disease. She's currently on a slow-kill treatment plan (including doxycycline), which will need to be continued and monitored. Because of this, she's on restricted activity to support her recovery. Tigger is a truly special girl who's been through a lot and deserves a loving home that can give her the care and attention she needs.
