About Fred
Fred is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being around. He came from tough beginningsāleft behind at a packed shelter with his siblings, but heās the only one who got a shot at a new life. Since coming into care, Fred has shown he can guard food and toys around other dogs, but never with people. Heās gentle and allows handling of his things easily. Cats donāt bother Fred muchāif anything, they boss him around. People-wise, he might be nervous at first, especially around men, but give him a couple of days and he sticks by your side like glue. Fred thrives on companionship and loves curling up in bed while youāre away at work. Heās not destructive, just an easy, soulful companion who wants to belong. His short velvet-soft coat adds to his appeal, and at around 53 pounds, Fred is waiting to just be someoneās dog. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
