His personality shines with friendliness and a sweet, outgoing demeanor. Winston isn’t shy with new people; he’ll happily seek your attention, welcoming neck scratches, kind words, and the occasional treat! Winston’s friendly nature makes him a great companion for meeting new humans, though he's best suited to a home with older children due to his strength. To ensure a good fit, he should have proper introductions with any resident or frequent canine visitors. However, he isn’t the right fit for homes with smaller dogs or cats, as he tends to mount other dogs and is a bit too interested in cats. This energetic fellow loves playtime and any chance to go out for field trips away from the rescue. He is currently working on leash manners—he’s quite strong and will need someone experienced to handle his walks.
