About Raya Paws

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Raya, a lovable medium-sized brown mixed breed who, after spending quite some time at a much larger shelter, is now getting a new lease on life through the PAWS prison-training program. There, she’s experiencing the joys of one-on-one obedience and skill-building, which will help her blossom even more and become a wonderful companion. Raya started her training journey on August 28, 2025, and she’s ready for someone to give her the home she’s been dreaming of. Fun fact: Born on November 6, Raya is a Scorpio, known for loyalty and strong bonds. Please note that Raya is not suited to live with cats, so a feline-free home is best for her. She’s currently available at Action Programs for Animals. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
