About Isla
Isla is a petite, one-year-old black cat with a gentle nature and a playful spark. Her short coat shines in the light, and her athletic movements catch your attention right away. Isla has a corneal ulcer in her left eye from before her rescue, but it doesn’t slow her down—she hunts for her toys, lounges in sunbeams, and gets into just the right amount of mischief. She’s initially a little shy, but give her a bit of playtime and some gentle cheek rubs and you’ll see her affectionate side. Isla thrives on interactive toys, showing off her leaping skills or keeping herself busy when you're away, and she communicates with soft, charming meows when she greets you. Once she feels at home, Isla enjoys relaxing beside her humans and curling up with fellow cats. She is a curious observer, content to birdwatch from a window or indulge in a little cat TV. Isla will do best in a home that can offer both companionship and space for independent play, especially with another friendly cat or two. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for pests, and reliably uses her litter box and scratching posts. Isla is looking for a home where her unique mix of sweetness, elegance, and playfulness are truly appreciated. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
