About Mistletoe Special Needs
Mistletoe is a medium-haired tuxedo cat who has been overlooked for over a year in foster care. She originally came from a cared-for colony where her mom was returned after being fixed, but Mistletoe is the only one still searching for a real home. Mistletoe has a congenital heart defect that won’t require medication, but it does mean she needs a calm, low-stress environment with no other animals or only extremely respectful cats. She is deeply timid—so much so that visitors rarely see her at all—and people tend to scare her. If you’ve ever wanted the quiet company of a cat you may hardly glimpse, she’s the right match. She appreciates treats, especially Churus, and enjoys mealtimes. If she trusts you, she’ll even tolerate a gentle grooming with a slicker comb. In her current foster, the comings and goings of other cats are tough on her, and she sometimes needs a pen just to decompress. Mistletoe will need a patient, understanding person willing to accept her as she is. With time and the right conditions, she could learn to blossom in her own way. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and is house trained. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
