Russell is an 8 year old Norwegian Elkhound German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. After being found by a good Samaritan on a nearby highway with a severe leg injury, Russell underwent life changing amputation surgery and has since made an incredible recovery. He is full of life, happy, and resilient, and his joyful spirit shines through in everything he does. Russell loves being around people, gets along well with other dogs, and thrives on affection and companionship. This special boy is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter in a loving forever home.
