About Gotti
Gotti's family finds themselves in the tough position of needing to rehome this loyal companion. Gotti is an affectionate, goofy 7-year-old mix of Coon Hound and German Shepherd. He thrives on being around people, often wanting to be at the center of whatever is going on. Gotti is house trained and knows simple commands like 'sit' and 'stop.' You won’t hear him barking much—he tends to be a pretty quiet guy for his size. Gotti strongly prefers human company and enjoys daily walks. He is used to living with people and does best as the only dog in the home. While he doesn’t show aggression towards cats, he isn’t fond of other dogs, so he’d be happiest as the only canine. Gotti gets along well with children. Watch out for his powerful interest in human food; since he has a sensitive stomach, it’s best to keep him on his own diet. He is not neutered yet, but the rescue will arrange for that as part of his adoption. Born August 8th, Gotti is a Leo—which checks out, considering how much he loves attention. The search is on for a loving home willing to make Gotti the center of their world. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
