About Colby
Colby is a big-hearted, 85-pound Pitbull/Labrador mix who’s seen some life changes recently. He was born on November 20, 2020, which makes him a bold and loyal Scorpio—true to form, he’s packed with devotion and a playful, water-loving spirit. Colby is house trained and has been with his family since puppyhood, so the search for a new home isn’t easy on him, but he’s ready to move forward with patience. He’s happiest in busy homes filled with children’s laughter and the gentle company of cats—those are his people and his rhythm. Other dogs, though, are a no-go; Colby needs to be the solo dog, where he can soak up all the attention and admiration. He settles in best with families who take things slow and steady, giving him time to adjust to new routines and surroundings. Colby is incredibly friendly with people and adores the water—whether it’s a pool, the bath, or just messy rain, he’s happiest splashing and sporting his favorite little rain boots. If you want a loyal, spirited companion and have space for him to shine as the only dog, Colby might just be your perfect match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
