About Lincoln
Lincoln’s story is one of resilience and cheerful determination. Born as part of a litter that lost their mother too soon, Lincoln survived distemper as a puppy and is the only one of his siblings still here. He brings a joyful energy into the world, moving to his own rhythm thanks to some lingering effects from his early illness—a wiggle that’s instantly endearing and uniquely his. After a solid start in a home that sadly couldn’t keep him due to circumstances, Lincoln has shown just how well he thrives in a family setting. He’s a large, handsome lab mix who genuinely enjoys life: whether running in the yard, wrestling with playful canine friends, or amusing himself with his favorite chew toys. He’s house trained and up to date on vaccinations. This is a high-spirited dog who needs an active home willing to keep him busy and engaged—both physically and mentally. Lincoln does best with other dogs but isn’t suited for a home with cats. He’s also good with kids and loves to be part of family routines. If you’re seeking an energetic, steadfast companion with a survivor’s heart, Lincoln has plenty to give. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
