About Lady
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Lady, a loving and incredibly smart mixed-breed dog searching for her hero. While Lady can be fearful of men due to past trauma, she is very alert and attentive, always keeping an eye on her surroundings to keep you informed. Since being left behind by her previous family, Lady has joined the Pups on Parole Program, where her confidence is growing day by day. Patience and understanding are key, as she needs someone experienced who can continue to help her thrive and become the joyful pup she’s meant to be. Lady is selective with other dogs and is currently learning how to play more gently. She enjoys her daily walks and treadmill sessions, which help her channel her energy in a positive way. When it comes to food, Lady prefers a set routine and should always be fed on a schedule, as she can show resource guarding with her meals or treats. A confident, calm handler who understands her needs will bring out the best in her. She’s eager to please, already knows a wide range of commands—like sit, heel, shake with both paws, and even "pray"—and responds impressively to silent hand signals. Lady thrives on affection and quality time; she’s playful, independent, and will fill your life with loyalty, laughter, and love. An active, patient family and perhaps even a runner would be perfect for her as she continues her journey towards trust and happiness. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
