Kimbo is a small Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a golden and fawn medium-length, rough, wiry coat. As an adult male, he's been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. Kimbo is house trained when taken out on schedule. He is currently being cared for at A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue.

Sporting a rough, wiry medium-length coat in pretty golden and fawn tones, Kimbo is as handsome as he is endearing. He thrives with routine brushing to keep his coat looking its best. Kimbo is a sensitive, sweet, and shy dog who takes time to adjust to new surroundings and people. Because of his gentle nature, he needs a calm, understanding adopter willing to provide him with patience and reassurance as he settles in. Kimbo feels most at ease in a household with adults or teens, preferably with at least one small, playful dog companion he can buddy up with. He loves playing with other small dogs and enjoys long play sessions, followed by cuddly nap times on a welcoming lap. He currently lives happily with teenagers, his foster mom, and several small dogs. However, Kimbo is frightened by most men, loud noises, and sudden movements, so a quieter home with a securely fenced yard is required. This little guy enjoys short walks and is working on his leash manners—he can be excitable and pulls but is improving. Kimbo is comfortable being crated at night or when left alone, and he's housebroken when kept on a schedule.
