About Millie
Millie has overcome unthinkable cruelty, having survived an attempt to amputate her back paw and harm her other leg. Despite the past, she thrives in her foster home and eagerly joins in tug-of-war matches with other dogs, dashing around and making the most of every moment. Discovered as a puppy among trash, Millie was rescued just in time. She's missing one back paw—a healed injury possibly from birth or violence—and bears a zip tie-like scar on her other leg. At about five months old and 14 pounds, Millie is still growing and slowly gaining weight. Though her Weimaraner mix is just a guess, she may surprise everyone as she matures. What’s certain: she’s a toy lover, adores other dogs, and knows how to snuggle into anyone’s lap. After everything, Millie remains friendly and affectionate, and she doesn’t hold back her joy with people or animals. She’s vaccinated for her age and house trained, ready for someone who’ll give her the life she deserves. Click apply to start the adoption process.
