You know when you're a cat rescue that's completely at capacity and you get a message asking for help? And you tell them that you're at capacity and they say the cat is injured and you say well send me a picture and then they send you a picture of a young cat with a GAPING HOLE under his chin? Yeah, so anyways this is Caluma! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Caluma was being cared for as a stray by a wonderful woman and her kids. She noticed Caluma's injury and knew right away that he needed more help then she could give. After contacting some other rescues that were unable to help, Biscuit Bakery Cat Rescue and Sanctuary answered her calls! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Caluma had what we believe to be a popped abscess under his jaw (not pretty but if you would like the gory pictures then click here) that was able to be sewn up with the help of Sevier Animal Care and Tri-County Veterinary Clinic. Caluma is a shy boy, but extremely loving once he feels comfortable. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He is best suited for a home without children with someone that has the patience to help him come out of his shell. He will NOT be adopted out to a solo-cat household as we have noticed he is much happier with feline companions. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Caluma is currently available for adoption at Black Cat Lounge in Sevierville.
