Now, in the midst of chaos, Mickey has emerged as a beacon of hope for all animal victims caught in conflict. 🏙️ Hailing from Bakhmut—an area that has seen more destruction than we can image—Mickey was saved from the rubble by brave Ukrainian soldiers. Found orphaned and sheltering under a stove, he was gently contacted and brought to safety, eventually making his way to sunny Pacifica, CA! 🌞 💕 Mickey is not just a survivor; he’s a playful, gentle, and incredible companion! This good-natured pup loves to snuggle up at night with a 5-year-old girl in his foster home. But hold on to your hats, folks! When Mickey gets excited, he has a hilarious habit of launching himself into the air like a puppy rocket! 🚀 Therefore, he would thrive in a home with children over the age of 5, where his joyful spirit can shine! 🚽 Good news on the training front: Mickey is potty trained and leash trained! This handsome fella is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. After a 10-day quarantine upon arrival in the USA—which also included a Rabies vaccination—Mickey was deemed safe and sound! Plus, he passed his heartworm test with flying colors! 🎉 🐶 Our best guess is that Mickey is about 6 years old, as per the vet’s opinion, but he acts like a sprightly youth with all that energy. Sometimes he likes to chew, but thanks to some excellent training, he only enjoys digestible bones these days! 🤗 Mickey is a fan favorite among people, showing affection and gentleness, especially towards kids! Just a heads-up, though—this enthusiastic fella can get a bit carried away in playtime, so he may be too much for little ones. He’s friendly with other dogs and is the kind of companion that can easily fit into a multi-pet household.
