Introducing Congo! 🐶 This lovable boy was found shivering on the chilly streets of Wisconsin, where absolutely no pup should ever be. Imagine that! He was rescued by a kind friend of our foster, and boy, was he in rough shape—thin and marked from an outdoor existence. But let me tell you, this sweet 32-pound gentleman has turned a new leaf! 🌟 After a warm welcome and a vet visit, he’s on the path to recovery and finding his forever home. Congo is best buddies with female dogs at the moment, but who knows? Once he’s neutered (the rescue is covering that!), he could be quite the charmer around the boys too! 💙 Just a heads up: this handsome bulldog is not a fan of vacuum cleaners! He’ll charge at that noisy monster with all his might—typical bulldog spirit! And speaking of bulldog antics, he definitely knows how to put the brakes on when he wants to take a break. 😂 Now, honestly, Congo has had a bit of a tough past. He shows some food aggression, likely a remnant of his previous life, but don’t you worry—he's learning! 🥳 He’s much better eating treats straight from flat hands, and he’s slowly warming up to the idea of sharing. He isn’t quite potty trained yet, but he's making strides and does know to use a potty pad when needed. 🏅 Congo adores the kids in his foster home, aged 9, 12, and 14, and he’s looking for a forever family that can appreciate his lovable quirks. Due to his food issues, we prefer a home with pet-savvy kids aged 12 and up. This boy is ready to share his love and get cozy in a home that understands him.
