Imagine a big-hearted buddy who’s a tad shy at first but, once he warms up to you, he’ll shower you with love and enthusiasm that could light up the whole room! 🌈🏠 Butters is the kind of fella who thrives on friendship—both with his canine pals and his human companions. He adores bouncing around the yard, soaking up sunshine while engaging in playful romps. However, Butters does come with a quirky past involving a little too much jumping into people's arms and swiping objects—dish towels, clothes—whatever catches his eye! 😂 Thankfully, he’s had some training in foster care, but he’ll need a family with a little patience and training savvy to help him stay on course as he continues to learn those important boundaries. Now, here’s the scoop! Butters has one of those adorably twisted front legs that gives him that basset/dachshund charm, and while it doesn’t hold him back from being playful, it might mean he shouldn’t be a marathon partner. 🏃‍♂️ If hiking or running is your thing, keep that in mind and meet him where he’s most comfortable. Butters does best in a cat-free home, as he’s not quite into feline friendships. His future family will also need a securely fenced yard with a sturdy crate (no soft crates here for our precious pup!).
