About Gandolph
Meet this beautiful soul from AGPR, who has journeyed through so much adversity and found a soft place to land. 🌈 For the first 18 months of life, this precious animal had the freedom of a vast property filled with chickens, pigs, and a plethora of other furry and feathered friends. But after being surrendered, a dozen of them found refuge at AGPR, where it finally felt safe again. Transitioning to a new environment can be daunting, and initially, this gentle heart was so scared that walking seemed impossible! 🚶♀️ Thankfully, the amazing volunteers worked their magic, and with a little patience and love, this furry friend is now proudly walking on a leash! 💪 While still a bit shy with newcomers, you can see the trust growing in those gorgeous eyes. 🥺 Just approach slowly and you'll find a willing partner for some leash walks. But you know what truly makes this spirit light up? Those delightful romps in the yard with their best friend Cherry! 🐶💖 Wrestling, playing, and just being silly together—it’s a match made in heaven! Yet, this darling is labeled as having "special needs" because of their past experiences. Love, patience, and understanding are the keys to helping this companion blossom. A calm home and the presence of a friendly dog would take this journey to the next level, so consider adopting Cherry as well! Imagine the joy of two playful souls frolicking in your yard! 🌼 Take a moment, gaze into those enchanting eyes, and ponder if you're ready to provide a nurturing environment and an awesome life filled with laughter and trust. As a Great Pyrenees, this magnificent animal will need a safe and secure fenced-in yard (at least four feet high) to roam.
