This sweet boy was found looking for love on the day before Christmas Eve 2024. Not only was he thin, but he was bursting with joy every time someone sauntered by his kennel. Can you picture it? 🥺 Every wag of his tail said, ‘Pick me, please!’ Now, Gomer’s journey hasn’t been without its bumps! He had a few health hurdles to jump over, including intestinal parasites, heartworm, and some dental issues that are now on the mend. He’s conquering life one paw at a time! This lovable goofball has now completed his heartworm treatment and is set for a dental procedure in February 2026. He’s discovered how delightful it is to live indoors surrounded by people who adore him, and believe me, the change is palpable! Gomer loves to cozy up by the fireplace with his buddies, including his pal Gus. 🐾 But watch out; he’s a bit of an escape artist! If there’s something intriguing outside, he’ll turn into a furry Houdini, capable of opening latches and climbing fences! So, a secure 6 ft privacy fence will be a must. Gomer is in training mode, learning basic cues and soaking up all the affection you have to give. While we’re not sure how he feels about cats yet, one thing is clear: he’s ready to embark on adventures filled with sniffy walks and loving memories.
