Introducing Bonnie and Clyde, the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed in your life! 🐾💕 These lovable dogs have been through the wringer but have emerged ready to spread joy and snuggles in their forever homes. Now, we know technically the spaniel goes by Ciara, but let’s be real—Bonnie and Clyde just sounds so much cuter, don’t you think? 😄 Once roaming the streets of Dallas, these two became best friends while relying on the kindness of strangers at a local fabric shop. The shepherd had been a fixture in the area for two long years before the sweet spaniel joined him six months ago. Imagine their lives—you can picture them playfully frolicking around, but it’s heartbreaking to think they were likely sleeping under a bridge at night. 🌉 When Happy Furever heard their story, the team took a trip to Dallas (not once, but twice) to bring them to safety. On the first attempt, they didn’t show, but the second time, they were waiting with hopeful tails wagging! 🐕✨ Since arriving at their foster farm, Bonnie and Clyde have truly settled in. After what must have felt like an eternity waking up on the cold, hard ground, they’ve finally experienced the joy of a comfy bed, warm meals, and the love of a caretaker, Carl, who adores them! Now, these cuties are always ready to run and play, but they also love soaking up all the attention you can give. 🥰 Their days are a delightful mix of frolicking and napping—because why not? However, one small note: they can get a bit anxious when Carl isn’t around, probably because their past life was devoid of consistent human affection. But don’t worry! With a little time, they’ll learn that love is here to stay! Bonnie (the spaniel) has a microchip, and we tracked down her former owner, only to discover they no longer wanted her. 😢 But she’s definitely better off now! Both pups are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. They are currently heartworm positive, but don’t fret; they’re receiving treatment that we’ll cover, and they’ll be ready to adopt soon so they can leave their past behind them. While we prefer to find a home together for these two soulmates, we understand that life sometimes takes unexpected turns, and we’re open to considering individual adoptions if the perfect match appears.
