🌟 Meet Forrest, the stunning boy whose charm is as big as his heart! This gentle soul emerged from the Calhoun Shelter, where he was just a stray waiting for his forever family.🚶‍♂️ Not chipped or neutered, Forrest is 2-3 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. He’s guessed to be a doodle of some sort, and trust us when we say he’s a catch! 🎉 When he first arrived, our sweet Forrest had quite the matted coat, resembling a woolly wonder with some dreadlocks! But thanks to the amazing Lori from Molly N’ Me, who worked her magic on her day off, he emerged looking fabulous and feeling fresh!✂️✨ Initially a bit shy and overwhelmed with his surroundings, Forrest has been easing into his foster home like the chill pup he is. 🚗 He rides beautifully in the car and is making strides with his house training. With most dogs, he's a social butterfly, but he seems to prefer the company of humans over his four-legged friends. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 He loves to watch everyone play, though it's clear he's still figuring out how to fully engage. Perhaps he's just never had the chance to join a pack? 🌈 Forrest is laid back and easygoing. He might do best as an only dog or in a home with a calm canine companion of a similar size. As he settles in, he will blossom with continued socialization and probably appreciate some calm vibes. ❤️ He’s already showing improvement with crate training and has even mastered the dog door!
