This charming canine prefers to keep things on his terms – when it comes to being picked up, he might grumble a bit. A nifty trick is to use a blanket to scoop him up until you’re fluent in the art of Ralph’s expressive body language. He also had Lyme disease, which was treated successfully, and recently had surgery to repair some pesky perineal hernias that were giving him trouble.
