A little about Jimmy Lee's journey: just two months ago, he found himself at a veterinary clinic after a tough time where he couldn't use his back legs. 🏥 His former owner, unable to continue caring for him, turned to the vet for help. It turns out, our brave Jimmy Lee was battling Lyme disease and Anaplasma, but thanks to the wonderful care he received, he's back on his feet—quite literally! While he may still be a tad wobbly, he's doing tremendously well overall! As Jimmy Lee continues to thrive, he has been living in a foster home filled with love, where he navigates steps to the backyard and is making great progress. It's important to take things slow since we don't know if his previous lameness stemmed from Lyme or a potential back injury. No jumping or crazy antics for this lovable boy! But don’t let that fool you; Jimmy Lee's spirit is as bright as the winter snow he adores! ❄️ He lights up at the sight of stuffed toys, loves playing with his doggie foster siblings, and gets along famously with everyone—including cats and humans! While this precious boy has made strides in house training, moving to a new home may require a bit of adjustment. He’s on the right track, whimpering at the door to go outside, but a little more support will help him settle in. A cozy couch, a warm blanket, and your love are exactly what he craves. Lately, he has shown signs of developing some separation anxiety and may need gentle encouragement to feel secure when you’re away.
