Meet the incredible Reed! ⭐ This heartwarming fella is approximately 5 years old and a delightful mix of American Bully and Boxer. 🐕 Life hasn’t been a walk in the park for him; he was rescued in a rather sad state, emaciated and dirty, but oh, how he’s risen from the ashes! Now, he struts around with a charming little swagger, slapping his front paws down in a way that has his foster mom giggling and lovingly calling him "Ducky". 🦆 Reed has a zest for life that’s simply contagious! His two absolute favorite things? Daily strolls and making new friends—all day, every day! 👣👫 It's no wonder he makes pals wherever he goes. But here's where it gets real, folks. Reed's got a heart condition called subaortic valvular stenosis and aortic insufficiency—it sounds complicated, but it just means his heart's got to work extra hard to keep him going. ❤️ So, while he lives each day to the fullest, we don’t know how much time we have with this precious boy. He’s on daily medication to help, and his cardiologist says he’s doing great! ✨ He’ll need to continue this treatment and attend regular check-ups, so he’s looking for a calm home that can give him all the love and dedicated care he deserves. Ideal for Reed? Quiet walks, plenty of sunshine on the window bench, and a place to chill without too much excitement. 🌞 While he currently enjoys the company of a few canine friends in his foster home, he would also be perfectly content as a solo pet.
