Meet the wonderful Ike! 🎉 Arriving at the rescue alongside his brother Mike, these two were unfortunately surrendered by owners who didn’t quite share the full story of their past. Can you imagine the challenges they faced? Initially, Ike was a bit of a wallflower, shy and fearful of humans; he needed some time to really come out of his shell. But guess what? Since Mike found his forever home, Ike has been blossoming like a beautiful flower in spring! 🌼 His heart slowly opening, he's starting to let loving humans get closer without skittering away like a frightened little bunny. 🐰 Though he still looks to his buddy Sylvester for comfort, Ike is making fantastic strides! With a little patience and a whole lot of love, Ike will surely learn to enjoy every delightful moment of his new life. He's an adorable 16-pound bundle of love, fully vetted and ready for the right human to shower him with affection. Good news – he’s super friendly with both dogs and cats! As for kiddos, well, that remains a mystery, so it's important that potential adopters are mindful of that when considering bringing him into their homes.
