Meet Hutch! 💖 Some stories tug at your heart a little harder, and Hutch’s tale truly pulls at those heartstrings. This darling boy came to us alongside his sibling brother, Starsky (yes, just like the famous duo, Starsky & Hutch!). Unfortunately, both boys arrived with their bellies far too empty and their hearts even heavier. They’ve faced hardships that no young soul should ever endure. At about 1 year old and weighing in at around 40 pounds, Hutch is on his journey to becoming a striking Rottie mix. Picture him as a robust, handsome gentleman once he fills out those paws! 🐶 Hutch is friendly with other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes. However, he hasn’t met any cats yet, so keep that in mind! Hutch is still navigating this big, beautiful world. He’s a bit timid on the leash and uncertain about stepping into the play yards. At times, he appears frightened by his own shadow. Can you imagine what this brave little guy must have experienced? 😢 Given his past, it’s no wonder that he loves his meals extra, perhaps a little too much! So, we kindly ask for a home without small children at this time, to give Hutch the safe space he needs to flourish. With love, training, and a smidgen of patience, Hutch will learn that food is abundant and that he’s finally safe! When he learns to trust, you’ll witness the sparkle of hope reignite in his eyes. 🌟 He craves to be brave — he just needs the guiding hand of a kind soul to show him what real love and family mean.
