Meet the dashing Arlo, a 3-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever who’s here to steal your heart! 💛 This handsome gentleman found himself at the HSOV after a Good Samaritan spotted him and his best buddy, Steven—a lovely American Staffordshire Terrier—wandering the charming Echo Valley Road in Waterford, Ohio, on December 6, 2024. These two were not wearing collars and sadly, they weren’t microchipped either. Arlo sports a stunning yellow/tan coat that’s as smooth as silk, a long, wagging tail that tells a story of joy, and those deep dark brown eyes that can melt even the iciest of hearts. 🥺✨ His floppy ears perfectly frame his adorable face, making him one irresistible companion. This sweet boy embodies a gentle, easygoing spirit and absolutely adores the affection showered upon him by our loving kennel techs and volunteers. Arlo’s comfort zone is in their company, soaking in all the loving pets while his buddy Steven can’t help but want a piece of that action, too! Now, let’s talk about their living situation: Arlo and Steven enjoy their very own ‘bachelor’s pad’ in our Safe Haven Building, enjoying the warmth of companionship without the confines of a standard kennel. Picture this—two friends in their cozy nook, sharing laughs, cuddles, and the occasional playful romp. 🥰 But, it’s important to note that while these two are friends for life, they prefer not to share their circle with cats, so feline friends are a no-go! At 76 lbs, Arlo is a big-hearted boy ready to dive into a big new adventure. Despite being held for a stray hold in compliance with Ohio law, nobody came forward to claim this fabulous duo. Their loss is your gain, as they are now available for adoption! Arlo was neutered on June 10, 2025, and he’s all set with a rabies vaccine, ready to jump into a life of love and companionship!
