Unfortunately, Emery didn’t have an ID tag, dog license, or microchip, but she’s now ready for her forever home! Emery has a fabulous black wire-haired coat that catches the eye, and her charming face features enchanting brown 'teddy bear' eyes that could melt anyone's heart. Just look at that long slender muzzle and those adorable floppy ears! 😍🐶 When Emery first arrived at the shelter on December 6, 2025, she was understandably a bit scared; imagine being in a new place surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and faces! But here’s the thing—when a photographer came to take her picture on December 9th, she would dash to the side of the kennel, eager for some love and comfort. It’s as if she was saying, “Hey, I’m here! Look at me!” 🌈 At 47 pounds, Emery has a petite yet lovely stature. She does have a little sparse fur on her hindquarters and legs, likely due to an allergy, but that doesn't take away from her vibrant spirit. She’s a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, just waiting for someone to give her the love she truly deserves. 🐾 Sadly, despite being held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so her family could come forward, no one has come to claim this sweet girl.
