🌟 Meet Jax, a fabulous little yellow lab with a heartwarming story! This handsome fellow is between 3 to 5 years old and weighs in at a dainty under 50 lbs. Can you believe it? He’s beaten the odds after transitioning from a life as a semi-feral outdoor dog to a thriving house dog, all thanks to the power of love and friendship! ❤️ Once, Jax was found in a frightful situation, dumped in a field by a breeder in Jackson County. Imagine the fear he felt; he wouldn’t let anyone within 20 feet of him and would urinate in sheer panic if approached. Poor Jax had experienced neglect and abuse, leading to a lifetime of confusion. He didn’t even know how to climb stairs or eat from a bowl! But oh, how far he’s come! Fast forward to today, and Jax follows his foster mother everywhere like a little shadow. This sweet boy has discovered the joy of car rides and is learning that collars and leashes can be friendly, even if he hasn't quite fallen in love with leash walking yet! He’s adored his dog beds and toys like a child cherishes his favorite plushie! You’ll be amazed that just a month ago, he needed to be crated and carried into the vet's office, and now he walks right in like a champ! 🎉 A dream of Jax’s forever home would include another playful and confident dog.
