Alice is a 6-year-old poodle mix weighing around 44 lbs. She is fully house-trained and is friendly with both people and other dogs. Alice is an absolute sweetheart who loves being by your side no matter what you're doing. Whether she's lounging on the couch, hanging out in the kitchen, or playing with her favorite toys, she's happiest when she's close to her person. Head and ear rubs are her favorite, and they're a guaranteed way to win her over. Alice is very food motivated, which has made training a smooth and enjoyable process. She already knows "sit" and is quickly picking up "stay," showing how smart and eager to please she is. Even with her love of treats, she's incredibly polite around human food and doesn't beg or try to sneak bites. Although she's currently the only dog in her home, Alice has shown herself to be very friendly with other dogs. She enjoys meeting new canine friends on walks and shows interest in playing when given the opportunity. She generally walks well on leash, though she may pull a bit when something exciting catches her attention, and she's easy to redirect.
