Her dad is moving to assisted living, and Dottie can't join him. 😢 Dottie is a sweet, spayed, adult female mixed breed with a beautiful medium build. Imagine a gentle soul who’s as quiet as a whisper and as affectionate as a warm hug! 🤗 She's totally house-trained and crate-trained, so there will be no accidents on your watch. Plus, she's great with children, making her the perfect family companion. 🏡❤️ Now, while Dottie can be a lovebug with people, she prefers to rule her castle as the only dog. 🐾 Think of her as the queen who just wants her kingdom free from other canine interlopers—cats? In her no-nonsense manner, Dottie made it abundantly clear that he was not welcome. Now that’s a girl who takes her job seriously! 💪 Before arriving at rescue, Dottie faced some challenges. She was heartworm positive, but don't you worry—she has completed her treatment and is now heartworm negative! 🙌 She's truly one of the best dogs this rescue has seen, and trust me, that's saying something!
