Meet Stevie, a fabulous lab-type mix who has triumphed over life's challenges with a heart full of love! 🌟 Arriving at the rescue after being found as a stray, this 6ish-year-old gal has faced more than her share of adversity. After undergoing surgery to remove her damaged eye, she recently lost her other eye as well due to glaucoma. But don’t worry—Stevie isn’t sad about it at all! Instead, she struts around with a little prance in her step, showing just how resilient and joyful she truly is. 🐾 Stevie tips the scales at 44 pounds and believes that kindness is the cornerstone of her being. 🥰 She loves other dogs, especially with a proper introduction, and is quite tolerant of puppies! Though she’s had just one brief experience with a cat and currently doesn’t live with any, the potential for a budding friendship would be worth exploring! As for kids, she enjoys meeting older children in public but we can't yet confirm how she feels about the little ones.
