Imagine her living alone in an abandoned house with no doors or windows – it’s heartbreaking. But thanks to the amazing team, we managed to trap her and bring her to safety. At first, dear Citrus was growling and upset for days, confused by her surroundings and what was happening to her. But patience and love have worked wonders! Now, Citrus is a true sweetheart, full of affection and ready to bond. ❤️ Citrus is estimated to be between 2 to 4 years old and is a charming mix of English Bulldog and Boxer. 🐶 With the classic cautious and somewhat disapproving personality of an English Bulldog, she also brings in a delightful silly play style from her Boxer side – a perfect combination of charm and playfulness! 🎉 Citrus is on the lookout for an understanding foster-to-adopt family who will cherish her and be patient with her as she fully comes out of her shell. It’s important to note that Citrus would thrive best in a home without children. While she enjoys leashed walks, she doesn’t require a fenced yard, making her adaptable to various living situations. 🌳 Please be aware that although she has a few dog friends at the shelter, introducing her to a household dynamic with other dogs will require some careful time and patience.
